Discovery Phase<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The first step is the discovery phase where the goal is to learn about the client’s business. Our consultants take the time to learn as much as possible about the business from both the employer and employees perspectives. This can include touring the facility, meeting with the board of directors and employees, analyzing the finances and reading all company materials. During this process, our business consultants will uncover the details of a company’s mission and what operations are in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Evaluation Phase<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Once they have an in-depth understanding of the company operations, our consultants enter the evaluation phase, where the goal is to identify where change is needed. This requires a SWOT Analysis which includes identifying the company’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as current and foreseeable opportunities and threats. These issues are prioritized and can include problems that management may already have identified as well as new problems the business consultants discover as a result of their objectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to identifying problems and opportunities, our consultants propose solutions to the problems they find and put plans to capitalize on the uncovered opportunities such as growing the business, increasing profits and boosting efficiency. For example, your company may have a particularly strong sales team but a weak marketing department. This will be an opportunity for the company to increase its marketing resources and capitalize on the sales team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Honest Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n During this phase, it’s critical for our consultants to provide constructive feedback and for the company’s employees and management to maintain open, honest and clear communications. It will be emphasized that management should not take constructive criticism personally, as our business consultants bring objectivity and fresh viewpoints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If the client is personally close to the business, it can become an obstacle to positive change and growth if there’s no open and sincere communication between both sides. That’s why our consultants constantly work the clients to gain their trust and put them at ease as they recommend solutions that are in their best interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Restructuring Phase<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Once we agree with the client on a plan, we get into the restructuring phase, or the implementation of the plan. In this phase, our consultants build on assets and eliminates liabilities. They also monitor the plan’s progress and adjust it as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
